QUETTA, April 3: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mir Mohammad Yousuf has announced that in order to overcome shortage of doctors more vacancies would be created and modern research facilities would be provided in the health sector.

He said this while speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the 18th four-day National Orthopaedic Conference here on Thursday night.

Some 300 orthopaedic surgeons and experts from all over the country were in attendance.

Deputy Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Mohammad Aslam Bhotani, Provincial Minister for Health Hafiz Hamadullah, Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation, Amanullah Notezai and MNA Maulana Noor Mohammad were also present on the occasion. He said that bringing about improvement in health services was on top of his government's agenda.
