BUENOS AIRES, June 1: The son of Argentina’s ousted President Fernando de la Rua has taken it on the chin for his father’s failures — after being slapped on live television by a furious protester.

An elderly woman out walking her dog vented her anger by swiping at the son of the former president in front of television cameras on Thursday.

The incident was caught by the cameras filming de la Rua’s son speaking to reporters about his sister’s new baby.

“You are all criminals, and you are not ashamed of it. Neither you, your father nor any of your family,” the woman screamed.—Reuters
