ISLAMABAD, Feb 7: The rector of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Justice Khalilur Rehman Khan (retired) said the university would continue training facility for the superior judiciary of Afghanistan through short-term orientation programmes at the Shriah Academy.

Talking to the Agency here on Saturday regarding the ongoing training facility for the superior judiciary of Afghanistan, Khalilur Rehman said a group of 19 judges and judicial officers and prosecutors of the superior judiciary of Afghanistan, including four of the Supreme Court of Afghanistan, and two female judges would complete their 12 weeks course in next month.

To a question about the nomination process for this course, he said all participants of the course were nominated by the government of Afghanistan .

The university is providing this training facility to judges of the superior judiciary of Afghanistan free of cost, he said.

Regarding the new group of judges of Afghanistan for training and orientation, he said.--APP
