MIRPUR, Feb 7: The World Food Programme is planning to impart technical training in various fields to the womenfolk in South, Azad Jammu Kashmir, official sources said.

They told APP here on Saturday that this had been decided by the members of a WFP mission during the recent visit to various remote and far flung areas of Kotli, Bhimbher and Mirpur districts in this division.

The mission, they said, visited the Area Development Project (South) Azad Kashmir and inspected its various aspects in various villages and towns in Kotli and Bhimbher districts including Charhoie, Khuiratta, Kerjaie, Giyaaien and Sarsawa in Kotli district and Kahri Shari, Nogran, Kadhala, Malote and Bhimbher.

The mission members during meetings with the population of these areas as well their local representative organizations exchanged views on the ongoing and forthcoming development projects.
