LAHORE, Feb 5: Three members of a family were hit and killed by a truck in Chuhng on Thursday. Parveen Bibi (30), her sister Shakeela (20) and son Nishan Afzal (5) were crossing the road when a truck hit them. They sustained critical injuries and were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.

They were residents of Niaz Baig Pind.

Meanwhile, an unidentified man was killed in a road accident at Bhati Gate. The man was crossing the road when a speeding van hit him. He was taken to the Mayo Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

SUICIDE: A labourer committed suicide in Shahdara Town. Aslam, 35, had been jobless for quite sometime. On Thursday, he locked himself in a room and took poison. He was taken to hospital where he died.
