ISLAMABAD, Jan 17: The Privatization Commission is holding second round of pre-bid conference for the sale of Faletti's Hotel, Lahore, on Monday (Jan 19) at Lahore. According to a handout issued here on Saturday, 16 parties who have submitted EoIs have been invited to attend the conference for better understanding of the transaction and bidding process. The transaction of the hotel will be on 'as is where is' basis.

The bidding date will also be announced after consultation with the prospective bidders in the conference. The first round of pre-bid conference was held at Islamabad on January 12, which was participated by 14 parties.

The hotel has approximately total area of 68 kanals 11 marla 11 sq ft. It has 44 large residential rooms, banquet hall, restaurant and facilities like tourist office, post office and travel and tour operating agencies.
