Eight killed in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Jan 10: Two of 20 worshippers injured on Friday in a grenade attack outside a mosque in occupied Kashmir died in hospital on Saturday, while six more people were killed in violence, police said.

Police said Mujahideen shot dead two of their colleagues in an "intergroup clash" in Doda.

Indian troops shot dead three freedom fighters in encounters.

Police also said a freedom fighter beheaded another officer in Kupwara.-AFP
