Saarc delegates' wives

LAHORE, Jan 3: Families of the delegates to the 12th Saarc summit being held in Islamabad from Sunday, visited the tomb of Mughal emperor Nooruddin Jehangir and the Lahore Museum here on Saturday.

Indian Foreign Minister's wife Mrs Nilma Sinha, Indian Foreign Secretary's wife Mrs Shashank, the wife of Saarc general secretary, Mrs Rahim, spouses of the Indian high commissioner and deputy high commissioner in Pakistan and Pakistan's Ambassador to India Mrs Aziz Ahmad Khan were among those who visited the historic places.

The visitors appreciated the 17th century architecture of the tomb.

Later, they visited the museum and showed keen interest in the artifacts representing the ancient Harrappa, Moenjodaro and Gandhara civilizations.-APP
