PESHAWAR, Jan 3: The inspector-general of police, NWFP, Riffat Pasha, has issued the order of transfers and postings of 15 senior officers.

According to a notification issued here on Saturday, Pir Iqbal-ud-Din, who was an officer on special duty at the central police office has been posted as DSP/security officer at Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar, in place of Qazi Ghulam Farooq, who has been posted as acting DSP investigation of the capital city police.

Bashir Ullah, acting DSP security CCP Peshawar, has been transferred and posted as acting SDPO cantonment at CCP Peshawar. While Mohammad Zahid, SDPO cantt, has been transferred and posted as DSP special branch, NWFP.

Mohammad Jaffar, ASP investigation, has been transferred and posted as SDPO Saddar, Kohat, in place of Hamayun Sindhu, who has been posted as ASP headquarters, Peshawar.

Aftab Ahmad Noor, DSP CID of the NWFP, has been transferred and posted as DSP Peshawar University in place of Khurshid Hassan, who has been posted as DSP security at CCP Peshawar.

Akbar Nasir, on his return from a UN mission, has been posted as ASP headquarters, Haripur, in place of Abdul Jabbar, who has been posted as SDPO Hangu.

Mohammad Ijaz Abid, DSP investigation (rural) at CCP Peshawar, has been transferred and posted as DSP CID of the NWFP.

While Ikhtiar Gul, DSP/OSD at CPO, has been posted as DSP administration at CCP Peshawar in place of Gul Khan, who has been posted as DSP investigation at CCP Peshawar.

Waqar Ahmad, acting SDPO Hangu, has been transferred and posted as acting DSP special branch.

Sabir Hussain, OSD at CPO, has been posted as acting DSP.
