LAHORE, April 19: A cellular company has urged the government to waive activation tax for the benefit of subscribers. Speaking at a new conference here on Tuesday, Ufone president Babar Khan said the number of cell phone users would increase rapidly if the government withdrew the tax.
He said that tariff here was comparable to India and revenue per subscriber was in the range of $7-10 as compared to $9-11 in India. — Staff Reporter
