KARACHI: Fake currency seized

KARACHI, May 31: Police, on Friday, raided a house in Nazimabad and arrested two suspects following the recovery of a large quantity of fake currency notes along with the manufacturing equipment.

The police said that on a tip-off, they raided a house in a shanty town along Gujjar Nullah in Nazimabad police limits, where they found a large quantity of fake currency notes of different denominations, various dies and manufacturing machinery. Fine quality paper used for making currency was also seized, the police said.

The police arrested Manzoor and Aslam, present at the time of the raid.
