PESHAWAR, April 14: NWFP Governor Khalil-ur-Rehman has said that the local government system has been launched with sincerity and honesty and efforts will continue to ensure its sustenance. Talking to district nazims of the NWFP at the Governor’s House here on Wednesday, he said the new system was facing certain difficulties, yet necessary measures would be taken for removing them , said a handout.

He said emergence of problems and difficulties was a natural phenomenon, however, they had to ensure these difficulties were resolved with sincerity.

He told the nazims that he would not only contact the NWFP chief minister to help resolve hurdles of the district governments, but would also approach the National Reconstruction Bureau and even the president if required.
