KARACHI, April 14: Asian Strategic Leadership Institute President Mirzan Mahathir has invited Pakistani businessmen, academicians and NGOs to the World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) to be held on October 1-3, 2005 in Malaysia. The conference will provide a platform for interaction among the participants for advancement of the economies of the Muslim Ummah, he said while talking to the members of the FPCCI here on Thursday.

Mirzan, son of former Malaysian Prime Minster Mahathir Mohamamd, said that during the last three day visit he found that there was a growing confidence that investment in Pakistan would give attractive return to the investors. He added he has come to Pakistan to study the economic situation, says a press release.

Later Mirzan Mahathir and FPCCI Vice-President Akbar Abdullah signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on behalf of their respective organizations.
