LAHORE, April 11: The Indo-Pak Flour Mills Confederation would expand it membership to all Saarc countries, claimed its office-bearers. At a press conference here on Monday, they said the confederation’s executive committee held its first meeting in New Delhi on April 2 and decided to frame its constitution. The meeting also decided to hold seminars and workshops in both countries for sharing technical know-how among stakeholders of the sector.

Pakistan, they said, was producing fine flour of much better quality than India. The latter could be turned into a market for the Pakistan’s flour.

The confederation decided to help locate markets in the entire region and create linkages.
