Zulfiqar slams match-winner

KARACHI, April 10: Zulfiqar Ali slotted home a late match-winner to guide Balochistan Police into All-Pakistan PTCL floodlight football final at Dring Stadium, Bahawlpur.

According to details available here, after a barren first half, Zulfiqar the winner from 20 yards ten minutes from time.

Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) reached the final after a 4-1 penalty shootout victory over Pakistan Army.

Both sides were deadlocked at 1-1 after the stipulated time. Jahanzaib Khan’s 39th minute goal for KRL was equalised by Mohammad Irfan in the 67th minute.

Balochistan Police meet KRL in the final on Monday night.
