LAHORE, April 5: The Lahore High Court Bar Association on Tuesday expressed deep concern over the murder of Tariq Majeed Khan, a former vice-president of the Lahore Bar Association, and demanded arrest of the killers. A bar resolution also appealed to lawyers not to take up the defence of the persons involved in the murder of the lawyer. The resolution was adopted at a general body meeting of the LHCBA with president Fakharunnisa Khokhar in the chair.

The meeting expressed satisfaction over the LBA constituting a panel of lawyers to provide free legal aid to the family of the late lawyer who, the speakers said, was a thorough professional and an amiable person.
