PESHAWAR, April 4: NWFP Governor Khalilur Rehman has summoned the provincial assembly to meet on April 13 for election of a senator. The Senate seat fell vacant due to appointment of deputy chairman of Senate Khalilur Rehman as the governor. The governor said in his notification: “In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of article 109 of the Constitution, I summon the provincial assembly to meet on Wednesday April 13 for the election of a senator.”—APP
