DERA GHAZI KHAN, April 4: The Taunsa Sharif Tehsil Council on Monday approved a no-confidence move against tehsil Nazim, with the support of 12 members out of the total 19 in the session presided over by the Naib Tehsil Nazim. The special session of the tehsil council was held at the tehsil council hall, under Naib Tehsil Nazim Mubashir khan Buzdar. The members, including Tufail Ahmed Khan Qaisrani, Asghar Khan Jaskani, Yousif Mughal, Moin Baluch, Allah Yar Douna, Farooq Ahmad Khar, Kalsoom Bi Bi, Athar Khan Malghani, Dr Ziaul Haq Buzdar, Basheer Ahmed Chacha and Zahoor Khan Miana supported the no-confidence move, while the rest of the members did not attend the session.

Tehsil Nazim Saeed Ullah khan Nasuha claimed while talking to Dawn that the move was illegal, and he did not receive any notice regarding it. He alleged that the members were kept at Islamabad. He further said that the move was floated illegally as no election commission official was present during the session.

Sources said that members of provincial and national assemblies from Taunsa Sharif fully backed the no-confidence move while remaining behind the scene.
