QUETTA, April 3: Two soldiers of Frontier Corps were injured when a landmine exploded in the Kahan area of Kohlu district, some 380km east of Quetta on Sunday.

According to sources, two FC soldiers were on way to their post in Kahan on a mule after distributing ration at other checkpoints during which one of them was hit by a landmine.

The resulting explosion left both the soldiers seriously injured. “One soldier lost his leg while the other was also critically injured,” FC sources in Quetta said.
