Contingent for Jeddah

ISLAMABAD, April 3: A 134-member Pakistan contingent left Islamabad for Jeddah on Sunday to compete in the inaugural Islamic Solidarity Games. Pakistan take part in 10 disciplines of the Games that are due to open on April 8 and are being held in the cities of Makkah, Madina, Jeddah and Taif. Pakistan stand a chance of picking up medals in tennis, swimming and athletics, officials said. Senator Zafar Iqbal Chaudhry is the Chef-de-Mission of the contingent.
