KARACHI, March 31: A woman has appealed to the governor and chief minister Sindh to find the whereabouts of her husband who, according to her, was taken away by plain-clothed policemen from New Karachi on March 27.

Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club on Thursday, Fatima Muzaffar said her husband, Muzaffar Ali, an engineer was taken away by plain-clothed policemen from New Karachi.

According to her, she had looked for her husband in all police stations and hospitals, but his whereabouts still remained unknown.

Later, the same night, plain-clothed men raided her house and took away valuables.

The raiding party also misbehaved with the female mem-bers present in the house, she added.

The following night another raid was conducted by men in civvies and this time they took away a licensed pistol from the house.
