KARACHI, March 30: Askari Commercial Bank has decided to offer 20 per cent cash dividend plus 20pc bonus shares to its shareholders for the year 2004. The decision was taken at the bank’s annual general meeting held in Rawalpindi the other day, says a press release. The bank earned a pre-tax profit of Rs2.843 billion in 2004, up from Rs1.9 billion a year earlier. Its after-tax profit rose to Rs1.9 billion from Rs1.1 billion.
