NEW DELHI, March 26: India and China may sign an agreement during Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao’s visit to New Delhi in April outlining principles to resolve a border dispute over which they fought a brief war in 1962, a newspaper said. Mr Wen is slated to hold talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during his four-day visit to India from April 9.“India and China are expected to sign a 10 or 12-point agreement incorporating the political parameters and guiding principles of resolving their boundary dispute,” the Hindustan Times said on Saturday. It said the two sides were keen not to disturb settled populations and take into account each other’s security concerns.—Reuters
