Subsidized flour

LAHORE, March 26: As many as 100,000 bags (20 kg) of flour will be made available at all Sunday Bazaars in the province to be sold at Rs231 each today.

Making the announcement in a statement issued here on Saturday, Pakistan Flour Mills Association’s Punjab chapter chairman Khaleeq Arshad said that the provincial food department had made arrangements for the sale of flour bags to provide relief to the public.

Mr Arshad added that the flour bags of the same quality and quantity were being sold in the open market for Rs240 each.

He said that 20 kg flour bags would be made available for Rs233 each at Sunday Bazaars from the next week onwards.
