LAHORE, May 30: The Punjab government on Thursday transferred 12 special judicial magistrates.
Muhammad Nasrullah Khan was transferred from Chakwal to Sheikhupura; Farid Aslam Lone from Serai Alamgir to Sheikhupura; Syed Sibtain Abid Kazmi from Pind Dadan Khan to Sialkot; Muhammad Masood Anwar from Mian Channu to Chichawatni; Hidayatullah from Jahanian to Rahim Yar Khan.
Umar Draz Bharwana was transferred from Noorpur to Faisalabad; Zahid Hussain Jaffery from Isakhel to Multan; Saqib Ali Ateel from Jatoi to Sahiwal; Habibullah from Taxila to Pasrur.
Riaz Ahmad Khan was transferred from Sahiwal to Lahore; Ahmad Saeed from Silanwali to Daska.
Meanwhile, the government has given selection grade (BS-19) to five police officers.
They are: Capt Maqsood Ahmad Khichi (retired) and Javed Islam (both deployed in Bosnia as a part of the UN peacekeeping mission), Sahiwal SP Capt Ahmed Latif (retired), Lahore SSP Investigations Capt Muhammad Amin (retired) and CID SP Ahmed Mubarik Ahmad.
