SWABI, March 23: Pesh Imams here have been asked to deliver special sermons to mobilize people for Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal’s ‘Million March’ to be held in Peshawar on March 28.

The local leaders of MMA said this while briefing newsmen on Wednesday.

They said the Pesh Imams would deliver special speeches during the Friday congregations to educate them about the importance of the rally and “about how the government was harming the national interest”.

They claimed that about 10,000 people would participate in the march from the district. People would gather in the Chota Lahor Tehsil and move to Khairabad Bridge to join the main caravan for its journey to Peshawar.

They welcomed the restoration of religion column in passports, describing it as a victory of the MMA against the government.
