ISLAMABAD, March 21: India will start issuing visas at the Attari checkpoint to Pakistanis aged above 65 years and below 12 from April 1. A press release issued here on Monday by the Indian High Commission said that applications would be considered for grant of visitor’s visa for a period of 30 days.
The High Commission said that the following requirements must be met by applicants for availing of this facility:
1. Applicants should carry valid passports, five copies of visitor’s visa application forms complete in all respect, and five passport-size photographs.
2. The visa fee will be Rs15 (Pakistani rupee), payable in cash.
3. The facility will be available on Mondays and Thursdays from 10am to 3.30pm.
