KOHAT: Bus passenger looted

KOHAT, March 20: Four highwaymen looted a passenger of a bus coming from Karachi on the Indus Highway near Mandoori chowk in Lachi here on Sunday. Adam Khan, resident of Hangu district, told Lachi town police that armed men deprived him of Rs12,000 when the bus stopped near the Mandoori chowk.

A police party rushed to the spot and arrested two of the four robbers from a hotel, while the others managed to escape. The police also recovered Rs9,500, seized a pistol and impounded the car which the robbers had used. The two arrested men were identified as Momin Khan, resident of Shabqadar, and Nazeer Khan, resident of Peshawar.
