QUETTA, March 19: Nationalist leader Nawabzada Balaach Khan Marri has condemned the FC attack on Nawab Bugti’s fort in Dera Bugti and termed it a declaration of war against the Baloch nation. Talking to Dawn from an unknown place over telephone, he said many rockets and mortar shells fired by FC men exploded in the fort of Nawab Bugti. He said the action proved correct the notion that the rulers considered Baloch people their slaves and wanted to suppress them and deny them their rights. He said it was a clear message to Baloch people to stand up for their rights, honour and dignity. He said that when the rulers were bent upon killing people, the latter had every right to defend themselves by taking up arms. Nawabzada Marri warned the rulers that the Baloch people would not bow down before them and would not compromise on their national rights.
