HYDERABAD, March 14: The Sindh Seed Corporation Employees Union has appealed to the Sindh chief minister to implement his orders about revival of the corporation and ensure payment of salaries to its employees.

In a fax message, union general- secretary Ghulam Qadir Khoso thanked the chief minister for directing revival of the corporation and payment of dues to the employees on Feb 5.

However, he said no covering notification had so far been issued in this regard.

He said the employees had been performing their duties regularly but they had not been paid their salaries and other dues since July 2004.

He said families of the employees were facing hardships and their children had been struck off from educational institutions for non-payment of fees.

Mr Khoso further said the post of managing director of the corporation was also lying vacant since January 2005.

He appealed to the chief minister to ensure issuance of a covering notification about the revival of the corporation and payment of dues to the employees.
