LAHORE, March 13: The Government College University, Lahore, has decided to organize five colourful events in connection with its 140th anniversary celebrations.

The celebrations will begin with a Mushaira at the Bokhari Auditorium of the university on the evening of March 19. Renowned poets will recite their selected poetry on the occasion. A debate between Old Ravians and New Ravians will be held at the auditorium on March 20.

The Music Society will organise a musical evening in honour of Pakistani and Indian Old Ravians on March 21. Some Indian singers are also expected to participate in the event. A contributory dinner followed by a musical programme will be held on March 22.
