NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, March 4: Workers of Jeay Sindh Mahaz staged a rally against the Kalabagh dam and Thal canal projects here on Friday.

The protesters, led by JSM vice-chairman Hashim Khoso, district president Masroor Chandio and district general secretary Dodo Khan, started their march from the press club and staged a sit-in for one hour at Allahwala Chowk.

Addressing the protesters, Mr Khoso said that March 4 was a symbolic day for the people of Sindh because they had launched a movement against the one unit and they remained successful.

He opposed the Kalabagh dam and Greater Thal Canal projects and said that Sindhi people would launch movement against the controversial projects as they did in the past. Ahmed Khan Chandio, Gul Moro, G.M. Bhatti and Gada Hussain Khaskheli also spoke on the occasion.
