PM for good governance

ISLAMABAD, March 2: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has said we want development with good governance. He was talking to Sindh Chief Minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim who called on him here on Tuesday.

The prime minister said a chief minister being administrative head of the province, was responsible for running the government. Appreciating the chief minister for maintaining law and order in Sindh during Muharram, the prime minister said: "Islam is a religion of peace, brotherhood, tolerance and moderation."

He emphasized that we should follow the middle course in our daily life. On the occasion, the Sindh chief minister congratulated the prime minister on his successful visits to Saudi Arabia and Iran.

He also informed him about the pace of work at Sukkar Barrage and Left Bank Out fall Drain. Mr Rahim thanked the prime minister for extended funds to undertake the projects for provision of clean drinking water and sewerage. He said agriculture production would increase due to availability of water.
