SHIKARPUR, Feb 24: Two people were killed in a clash between two groups in Garhi Yasin town on Wednesday. Armed men attacked the rival group, killing Yasin Bhutto and Shahzado Sabo on the spot.

The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their relatives on Thursday morning after carrying out post-mortem. The Garhi Yasin police registered FIR (10/2005) against seven people including, Samandar, Asghar, Akbar, Muzaffar, Raja, Maula Bux Bhutto and an unknown. The area people said the double murder was a result of a year-old matrimonial dispute.

A police party has been deployed in Bhutto Muhallo Garhi Yasin to avert any further mishap. It may be recalled that some one and a half year back one Sikandar Bhutto, who was the first cousin of Qutubuddin, was gunned down by armed persons following a domestic dispute.

The murder case was in process in the court of law. The relatives of Sikandar Bhutto suspected that Qutubuddin, an owner of a rice mill, was allegedly involved in the murder. Police said Qutubuddin and his nephew Mohammad Yasin always used to go home together after finishing their work at rice mill on a motorcycle.
