Pakistan's image improving

KARACHI, Feb 17: Consul General of Germany Countess Von Roedern has said that Pakistan's international image is improving as things are going "in the right direction for the country," but areas like law and order need to be tackled properly.

Speaking to members of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) on Thursday, she said that few areas like security, infrastructure, law and order and bureaucratic bottlenecks needed more attention from the Government of Pakistan.

KCCI President Khalid Feroz sought the German consul general's help in setting up joint ventures and exploring trade opportunities between the two countries, says a press release of the KCCI.
