KARACHI: PTC, CT results declared

KARACHI, Feb 4: The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, on Friday declared the results of annual examinations 2004 of the Certificate of Teaching (CT) and Primary Teaching Certificate (PTC).

According to the BIEK notification, some 883 candidates, including 747 women, appeared in the CT exams, and 610 were declared pass with a pass percentage of 69.08. While 861 candidates, including 746 women, took the PTC exams, and 548 were declared pass with a pass percentage of 46.96.

The top three position holders, respectively, in the CT exams included: Qirat Naz of the Government Elementary College of Education, Lyari; Naila Khatoon of Government Elementary College of Education, Shah Faisal Colony; and Shafaq Urooj of the KMC Elementary College of Education, Korangi.

While the top three slots - in succession - in the PTC exams went to: Asfa Zafar (Government Elementary Education College, Shah Faisal Colony) Naseem Bano (Government Elementary College of Education, Hussainabad); and Saima Mehmood (Government Elementary College of Education, Shah Faisal Colony).
