Five killed in firing on bus

QUETTA, Feb 1: At least five people were killed and two others injured when unknown men opened fire at a bus in Tumbo area of Nasirabad district on Tuesday.

The bus carrying about 40 passengers was on its way to Landi Sharif from Gul Hasan Manjho village when unknown men opened fire with automatic weapons. The injured and the bodies were taken to the Dera Murad Jamali Civil Hospital.

A police official said the attackers escaped. Those killed in the firing are: Sheeri Mohammad, Zafar Khan Mutawali, Abdul Razaq, Allah Ditta and Mir Mohammed. Safar Khan and Haji Khan were injured.
