PML drive for new member

Published January 27, 2005

LAHORE, Jan 26: The PML will open its membership campaign on Feb 4 as Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi will fill up the first form for the purpose, says a press release.

Five million membership forms will be filled up by March 31 when the campaign will come to an end, says the release without elaborating whether the target has been fixed for the whole country or for the province.

The party is planning to set up a special cell in the Prime Minister's House as workers could fax their problems to the cell through a special number free of cost, it adds. Green cards will be issued to the workers and development projects will be approved on recommendations of party office-holders.
