PESHAWAR, Jan 17: The Cultural Committee of the Peshawar Press Club has decided to organize a Mushaira and musical concert on the second death anniversary of the late poet, journalist and intellectual Qalandar Momand on Feb 4.

The meeting of the committee, held here on Monday under its chairman Ihteshamul Haq Toru decided to arrange similar programmes in memory of other literary personalities to in recognition of their services for the promotion of local culture.

A programme was scheduled for Feb 18 to pay respects to poet Amir Hamza Khan Shinwari, while on Feb 21, the International Day of Mother Tongues would be observed.
