PESHAWAR, Oct 28: Tribal people collected donations and arms and ammunition in Dara Adamkhel on Friday for helping the Taliban militia in its war against the allied forces.

A large number of the area inhabitants gathered in a field and started donating money, arms and ammunition and items of daily use to the organisers belonging to Jaish-e-Muhammad and Al-Rahseed Trust.

The collected items included Rs6 lakh, 55 tolas of gold, two truckloads of quilts, blankets, etc, 100 guns, 12 boxes of cartridges, a sten gun and other items.
