PM to visit AHQ today

ISLAMABAD, Jan 12: The Pakistan Air Force has become the first regional air power to receive the Rolls Royce certification for starting overhaul of the C-130 engines, officials told Dawn.

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz would be chief guest on Thursday to mark the beginning of the overhaul of C-130's T-56 Rolls Royce Engines. Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz would also be visiting the Air Headquarters (AHQ) for the first time on Thursday since assuming his office.

PAF spokesperson Air Commodore Sarfaraz told Dawn that PAF has become the first air power in South Asia and the Middle East to get the Rolls Royce certification to start overhauling of the T-56 engines.
