PML names candidate for NA-127

ISLAMABAD, Jan 10: Pakistan Muslim League President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has issued party ticket to Mian Fazal-i-Haq for the NA-127 by-election. According to a press release issued here on Monday , this decision was taken in a meeting presided over Mr Hussain at the PML House here.

PML Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Senate Deputy Chairman Khalilur Rehman, Gohar Ayub Khan, Sardar Yousaf, Iqbal Dar and Senator Kamil Ali Agha were also present on the occasion.

Four candidates - Dr Amjad, Chaudhry Faraz, Mian Fazal-i- Haq and Farooq Amjad Mir - had applied for the party ticket. It was decided by the four candidates that they would accept the decision of the party leadership.

Mian Fazal-i-Haq is a senior Muslim League activist and has remained MPA three times from the area. On the recommendations of the provincial PML, and keeping in view his services for the party and people, Mr Haq has been issued party ticket, the press release said.
