KARACHI, Jan 4: Trials to select a four-member Pakistan team for two events in Sri Lanka and India, which were scheduled to start at Lahore Gymkhana golf course on Wednesday have been postponed, the Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) announced on Tuesday.

Secretary PGF Taimur Hasan said that organizers in Colombo had postponed the Sri Lanka Amateur golf championship in the wake of tsunami which hit several South Asian countries and claimed thousands of lives in Sri Lanka alone.

The trials will now be held later this month during the Punjab Governor's Cup. -APP
