NEW DELHI, Jan 3: India and Pakistan will hold what are being seen as their last bilateral talks on Tuesday and Wednesday to resolve the Baglihar dam issue, diplomats said on Monday.

A Pakistan delegation led by water and power secretary Ashfaq Mehmood and including Pakistan foreign ministry's point man for India, Jalil Abbas Jilani, arrived on Monday.

Pakistani officials said the design of the dam in Jammu and Kashmir was such that India could stop the flow of water to Pakistan in the lean period of March and April by 21 to 26 days.

India wants the issue resolved bilaterally. Pakistan says it will move the World Bank for arbitration on the Baglihar dispute if Islamabad and New Delhi fail to reach a solution in this week's talks.
