MIRAMSHAH, Dec 28: Army troops searched a madressah in Darpa Khel Danadai village here on Tuesday night. A large number of army troops surrounded the village , while Scout Commandant Waheed Bangash along with assistant political agent and local elders searched the seminary, but found no suspected person there.

A tribal jirga was convened by the political administration to take the elders into confidence about the search operation.

After negotiations with the jirga, the army troops searched it for two hours. They failed to find anything suspicious, but did not leave the area as they established checkpoints near the village, witnesses said.
