ISLAMABAD, Dec 22: Kanooz International Holding Chairman Prince Abdul Aziz bin Meteb bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud accompanied by the vice-chairman and chief executive officer called on Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz here on Wednesday.

According to a press release, the prime minister while briefing the group on investment opportunities in Pakistan said that because of its liberal investment policies and high rate of return the country had emerged as an attractive investment destination.

He said due to high GDP growth rate, the demand for energy was rising, thus creating good opportunities for investment in the energy sector. "Housing and construction and services sectors also have great potential for investment."

He said the government had created an enabling environment for investment and offered a level-playing field to both local and foreign investors. Prince Abdul Aziz said Saudi investors were very keen to invest in Pakistan.
