RAWALPINDI, Dec 16: Pace man Yasir Arafat achieved a rare feat grabbing five wickets off five deliveries as he bowled Rawalpindi to an impressive six-wicket victory inside two days against Faisalabad in their Quaid-i-Azam Trophy match at the Rawalpindi Stadium on Thursday.

After Faisalabad resumed their second innings at the overnight score of eight for no loss, their batting was wrecked again by Yasir who took another four wickets as the visitors were bundled out for 164. Misbahul Haq was the top scorer with 48.

Yasir, was a constant danger for the touring batsmen and picked up one wicket from the very first delivery of his spell to make it five wickets off five balls. He had mopped up the rival tail on Wednesday capturing four scalps from successive deliveries.

In what was a splendid display of bowling, Yasir finished the match with figures of nine for 67. Test discard Azhar Mahmood picked up three for 53. Requiring only 80 runs to win the match, Rawalpindi survived early hiccups losing four wickets before getting to the target, Ameer Khan remaining not out on 34. Shahid Nazir had two wickets for 29.
