PESHAWAR, May 27: ABL President Khalid A. Sherwani has stressed for speedy recovery of the stuck-up and classified advances of the bank. He has advised the bank managers for constituting special recovery squads to expedite the process.

Mr Sherwani was addressing here the managers of Peshawar and Mardan regions, says a press statement issued on Monday.

ABL SVP Naveed Masud, regional general managers of Peshawar and Mardan Khawaja Nawazish Ali and Mumtaz Ali and regional controllers were also present on the occasion.

Bank chief advised the gathering to ensure in time and 100 percent achievement of proportionate annual developmental targets of deposits, profitability, accounts, imports and exports.

He urged every staff member to work hard and show tremendous results on individual and collective levels.

The staff, he said, had been given the required facilities and incentives, and now it was their duty to use all their talents in the larger interest of the institution.

He directed the staff members to further improve their service standard. “ Although computerization of the branches and training of the staff in accordance with the latest technologies has been provided, we have to polish the customer-service standards”, he said.
