MUZAFFARABAD, Dec 14: AJK President Major General (retired) Sardar Mohammad Anwar Khan has said that the world has been emerging as a global village and time demands that both Pakistan and India should enter the globalization march and resolve their all outstanding disputes amicably.

Sardar Anwar was briefing a 27-member team of Humanitarian French Doctors and media personnel currently visiting AJK who called on him at the Aiwan-i-Sadar here on late Monday evening.

The French team is led by former French minister and Member of Parliament Dr Prof Bernard Debry, head of urology department of French Cochin Hospital and top-most surgeon and urologist of Europe.

Sardar Anwar was of the opinion that if the dispute of Kashmir was resolved peacefully then both Pakistan and India could also join the globalization march. He said world problems could only be resolved on the basis of equality, justice and merit which, he pointed out, were necessary for resolving problems and giving deprived people and nations their legitimate and basic rights.

The AJK president said developing countries had been looking towards the European states and seeking justice and support. He lauded the role of France in the international arena for raising a strong voice for the cause of humanity and resolution of their problems.

Sardar Anwar appreciated the humanitarian spirit of the French doctors in the AJK and for extending medical support. He also hosted dinner in honour of the French team. -APP
