TOBA TEK SINGH, Dec 12: A suspect arrested by police has confessed to kidnapping and raping two schoolgirls of Gojra.

DPO Saad Akhtar Bharwana claimed on Sunday that Liaquat was taken into custody when he visited the Gojra Tehsil Headquarters Hospital to know the condition of a girl whom he had raped and she was in critical condition.

He said plainclothesmen got suspicious when he inquired about the condition of the girl from a nurse. He took to his heels when policemen tried to arrest him. DPO Bharwana claimed that police arrested him from Faisalabad where he was hidden in the house of his sister. He said the accused was identified by one of his victims when he and some other boys of the same age were shown to her.
